Database Conversion Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Import and transform source data into SQL Server.

• Identify tables and their relationships for effective data conversion.

• Map table fields to their corresponding database equivalents.

• Utilize C# programming in the data conversion application.

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure conversions align with customer expectations.

• Conduct data discovery tasks to assess time and effort requirements.

• Manipulate data to satisfy import criteria while maintaining data integrity.

• Recognize opportunities to mitigate potential obstacles.

• Design, develop, and execute tests to confirm successful data conversion.

• Analyze processes and procedures to ensure efficient and high-quality conversions.

• Offer support to both internal and external clients.

• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-to-4-year college degree or technical school training; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

• Minimum of 3 years of prior related work experience.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capacity to create organized and informative reports along with comprehensive and accurate documentation.

• Experience with MS SQL Server is preferred.

• Proficiency in .NET development (C#) is preferred.

• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies is preferred.

• Proven dedication to customer service and satisfaction.

• Ability to analyze and resolve problems both independently and collaboratively.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Capable of effectively managing multiple competing priorities.
