Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Resolve SQL Server problems, including Always On configurations, Failover Cluster Manager, performance challenges, SQL Server Agent Jobs, and replication issues.

• Develop and assess T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and T-SQL code.

• Address technical challenges from both system and application viewpoints.

• Identify issues related to Windows Server, server logs, storage solutions, printing, and IIS/Web services.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of technical expertise in troubleshooting SQL Server problems, including Always On, Failover Cluster Manager, performance diagnostics, SQL Server Agent Jobs, and replication.

• Fundamental understanding of writing T-SQL scripts.

• Capability to analyze stored procedures and T-SQL code.

• Proficiency in resolving technical challenges from a system/application standpoint.

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Server logs, Windows storage systems, Windows printing, and IIS/Web services.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Preferred but not mandatory: familiarity with Active Directory.

• Preferred but not mandatory: basic networking knowledge.

• Preferred but not mandatory: understanding of SQL Server backup and recovery methodologies.

• Preferred: experience in working with enterprise software.
