Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and resolve SQL Server problems, including Always On configurations, Failover Cluster Manager issues, performance challenges, SQL Server Agent Jobs, and replication tasks.

• Develop and evaluate T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and T-SQL queries.

• Address technical challenges from both system and application viewpoints.

• Provide support for Windows Server environments, server logs, storage solutions, printing services, and IIS web applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in troubleshooting SQL Server challenges, including Always On, Failover Cluster Manager, performance optimization, SQL Server Agent Jobs, and replication.

• Fundamental understanding of T-SQL script development.

• Capability to analyze stored procedures and T-SQL queries.

• Proficiency in resolving technical issues from both system and application perspectives.

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, its logs, storage systems, printing solutions, and IIS/web services.

• Proficient in both verbal and written English communication.

• Preferred but not mandatory: familiarity with Active Directory, basic networking principles, and SQL Server backup and recovery methods.

• Preferred: experience working with enterprise-level software.
