Data Science Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer expert guidance to a cohort of 25–30 undergraduate online students.

• Assist students with academic writing, research skills, and time management.

• Conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions.

• Direct students to pertinent reference materials.

• Evaluate assessments and deliver comprehensive feedback.

• Oversee discussion forums.

• Provide proactive, timely, and personalized support for student inquiries and concerns.

• Engage with students through email, phone calls, and online sessions.

• Utilize Python programming techniques to address data science challenges.

• Aid in the collection, storage, management, and analysis of various data formats.

• Employ NumPy and Pandas for data analysis tasks.

• Create practical solutions following structured data science methodologies and project-based learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of corporate and/or teaching experience in relevant fields at a prominent university or college.

• Solid understanding of Python programming and fundamental data science concepts.

• Proficiency in collecting, storing, managing, and analyzing diverse data formats.

• Experience in applying Python programming techniques to data science tasks.

• Proficient in using NumPy and Pandas.

• Familiarity with data science processes and programming-based problem-solving approaches.

• PG/Doctoral degree with distinction or first-class from a leading university in India.

• Excellent proficiency in English, with strong oral and written communication skills.

• Access to a functioning laptop.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection with speeds exceeding 10 Mbps.

• Ability to quickly adapt to technology platforms, including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac.

• Availability from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm IST every day of the week.
