Data Recruiting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee recruitment efforts for Data Science and Data Engineering positions.

• Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Tech Recruiting to create an essential hiring engine.

• Lead and cultivate a high-performing team of recruiters.

• Work alongside leaders in the Data organization to expand teams effectively.

• Provide guidance on search strategies and develop customized, scalable recruiting solutions.

• Utilize metrics to identify gaps and proactively suggest solutions.

• Track technology hiring trends and their influence on recruitment processes.

• Manage the performance and career development of recruiters.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

• Foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

• Direct teams toward high-impact priorities and proactively eliminate obstacles.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve hiring objectives.

• Establish standards and operational rhythms for a high-performing and efficient recruiting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a recruiting role, including overseeing recruiters who meet a high talent standard in fast-paced, tech-driven settings.

• At least 7 years of experience in technical recruiting across individual contributor and managerial positions.

• A specific emphasis on data science, data engineering, or related fields.

• Experience functioning as a business partner to senior management.

• Capability to support strategies and recommendations with data and market analysis.

• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to identify root causes in recruiting processes.

• Proficiency in developing scalable talent acquisition strategies.

• Ability to operate effectively in uncertain environments with agility and structure.

• Excellent communication skills and an executive presence.

• Skilled in influencing decisions through structured and compelling storytelling.
