This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Act as the Product Owner for an Agile team focused on preparing operational and sustainment data for digital and AI applications.
• Establish the product vision, roadmap, and value delivery; oversee and prioritize the backlog.
• Lead the Data-as-a-Product frameworks that encompass ownership models, data quality, metadata standards, and lifecycle management.
• Identify essential business processes and data sets crucial for AI readiness, which includes profiling, gap assessment, cleansing, and transformation.
• Collect requirements and translate stakeholder needs into data specifications.
• Convert business requirements into prioritized user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint objectives.
• Advocate for data quality, lineage, governance, and accessibility throughout sustainment operations.
• Promote the adoption of enterprise data platforms and standards.
• Collaborate with AI and digital engineering teams that support machine learning, predictive analytics, automation, and workflow modernization.
• Coordinate with data architects, engineers, scientists, analysts, and product owners to ensure data meets its intended purpose.
• Address ambiguous, multidisciplinary data challenges with innovative and scalable solutions.
• Provide updates on program status, risks, and strategic implications to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Engage in Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Enhance data readiness processes, backlog grooming, and adapt to evolving business or data environments.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and data-driven culture.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in engineering, digital technology, analytics, or data management, or an Advanced Degree with 7 years of such experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Product Owner, Agile Lead, Scrum Master, or in a comparable leadership position.
• At least 2 years of strong expertise in Data as a Product, data governance, data lifecycle management, and principles of data quality.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical knowledge of AI, machine learning concepts, and digital technologies.
• At least 2 years of demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and achieve results in dynamic and ambiguous settings.
• A minimum of 2 years of capacity to influence at various levels and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
