This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Assist the Senior Lead, Data Product Owner in strategizing and executing the product roadmap.
• Convert business and user requirements into Product Requirements Documents, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of application functionalities and user workflows to pinpoint product enhancements and process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to maintain, prioritize, and refine the product backlog.
• Work alongside data scientists to uncover user behavior patterns and identify product opportunities or areas needing improvement.
• Monitor project timelines, sprint schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks; update stakeholders on project status.
• Create and sustain product documentation, project plans, and decision logs.
• Enhance project workflows and documentation standards.
• Provide ongoing application administration, including content management, user support, and maintenance.
• Conduct quality assurance testing across various user roles to validate new features.
• Collaborate with technical teams to investigate, triage, and resolve user issues.
• Produce user guides, training videos, and user communications to enhance product engagement.
• Comprehend diverse user workflows and needs to steer product enhancements.
• Collect and synthesize user feedback for product improvements and backlog prioritization.
• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and end users.
• Assist in stakeholder engagement and deliver user-facing presentations.
• 2-5 years of experience in Product Management or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with technical products, software applications, or data products.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Proficient with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Asana.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative cross-functional relationships.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and comfortable adapting priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies, products, or business domains.
• A collaborative team player and self-starter.
• Experience in supporting web-based or mobile software applications (preferred).
• Background in data analytics or product performance KPIs (preferred).
• Experience in implementing AI-enabled features or workflow enhancements (preferred).
