Data Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and optimize the report and capability inventory.

• Determine which legacy reports will be retained as-is, transitioned to the new platform, rebuilt, or discontinued.

• Organize and prioritize the delivery backlog across replication, curated-layer, semantic-model, and reporting-enablement workstreams.

• Establish and confirm acceptance criteria with Finance and business stakeholders.

• Facilitate the validation of designs by collecting baseline requirements for reports and tables, addressing ambiguities, and defining the project scope.

• Propel decisions regarding the backlog and requirements to meet strict deadlines.

• Collaborate with the Architect, Security & Privacy Governance Lead, and data development leads.

• Monitor and report on progress related to design validation, build, and cutover-readiness delivery milestones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a product manager, product owner, or business analyst in data/BI/reporting initiatives, managing a backlog from start to finish.

• Experience in streamlining a substantial legacy report inventory into a governed, business-defined reporting product.

• Comfortable engaging directly with Finance or other business-domain stakeholders to establish acceptance criteria and clarify requirements.

• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills; capable of driving decisions to meet deadlines within a fixed-scope project.

• Solid understanding of data platform principles, including source-to-curated data flow, semantic layers, and BI tools.

• Background in data and reporting within financial/accounting, FP&A, or Mortgage sectors.

• Practical experience with Snowflake.

• Proficient in English (C1 level).

• Familiarity with financial/GL reporting areas, such as chart of accounts, dimensions, and the closing process (preferred).

• Knowledge of Power BI or another enterprise BI semantic layer from a product/requirements standpoint (preferred).
