This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of data products from conception to implementation and enhancement.
• Manage the full data lifecycle, encompassing data creation, pipeline development, and data accessibility.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of data architecture and infrastructure, including storage solutions, integrations, and analytics platforms.
• Work collaboratively with both technical and business teams to establish data product roadmaps and priorities.
• Navigate competing stakeholder demands based on the overall business value.
• Conduct analysis on data types, relationships, patterns, and trends through data profiling.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to clearly document specific and achievable data requirements.
• Grasp business workflows, sources, entities, and attributes.
• Validate data products against real-world user scenarios utilizing data and metrics.
• Track product performance through metrics and KPIs while driving ongoing improvements.
• Assist in the integration of AI into team processes to enhance delivery speed and decision-making.
• Lead cross-functional teams that include data scientists, data developers, and analytics experts.
• Mentor, train, and develop data talent, creating opportunities for professional growth.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level (C1 or above), both spoken and written.
• Strong, hands-on experience in data and analytics settings, demonstrating genuine technical expertise.
• Experience in managing data-centric projects, including planning, execution, and communication with stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking abilities and a product-oriented mindset.
• Experience with prioritizing based on value and managing risks effectively.
• Proven track record of leading and developing technical teams.
• Experience with data platform environments hosted on Azure Cloud Services.
• Familiarity with modern data transformation and warehousing tools like DBT and Snowflake.
• Experience utilizing project management tools to plan, monitor, and communicate progress on deliveries.
• Previous experience collaborating with international clients across different time zones (preferred but not required).
• Background in transitioning from roles in product management, project management, or technical team leadership to data product positions (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of data governance practices (preferred but not required).
• Experience with other cloud platform providers such as AWS or GCP (preferred but not required).
