Data Processing Associate – Clinical Lab Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute pre-accessioning order processing tasks, which include creating patient records, placing orders, and generating tasks for customer support teams.

• Achieve defined SLAs and OKRs.

• Carry out post-accessioning order processing by inputting order information into Invitae systems.

• Perform quality control checks on previously entered data within Invitae systems.

• Generate customer support tasks related to kit requests and missing information.

• Liaise with the Accessioning and Client Services teams as required.

• Maintain various reports.

• Conduct compliance activities.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, science, data processing, or a related field.

• Proficient data entry and typing abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility.

• Familiarity with genetic testing or a related field is advantageous.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in managing multiple applications and utilizing dual monitors.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Proficiency in Salesforce, JIRA, or comparable CRM/ticketing platforms.

• A quiet, dedicated, distraction-free workspace at home.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Experience with remote collaboration tools.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a genetic testing clinical laboratory.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a collaborative team setting.

• Preferred: Current or previous experience with Invitae.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a metrics/volume-driven role.
