This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and develop a streamlined data engineering team.
• Construct and expand an AI-ready data infrastructure for analytics, operational reporting, governance, enterprise integrations, and AI projects.
• Take ownership of the Data Governance & Accessibility program.
• Act as the managerial and architectural authority for scalable data systems and dependable pipelines.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, set objectives, provide performance evaluations, and oversee career advancement.
• Guide engineers in best practices for data engineering, design methodologies, testing, and operational discipline.
• Propel execution, manage team productivity, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure operational sustainability.
• Facilitate planning sessions, daily standups, prioritization, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with analysts and business executives to convert requirements into incremental stories.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for analytics and business stakeholders.
• Communicate project roadmaps, risks, delays, and progress in a transparent manner.
• Simplify technical concepts for business audiences.
• Direct the design and scaling of the Snowflake platform, ingestion architecture, and AI interface layers.
• Oversee the ingestion of data from enterprise systems into a unified source of truth.
• Set standards for data governance and observability.
• Audit the data ecosystem and assess cloud expenditures, reliability, transformations, data quality, and AI preparedness.
• Define engineering standards and implement enhancements for pipeline reliability.
• Draft and present recommendations for modernized data architecture.
• Establish governance for self-service analytics.
• Implement the initial phase of the approved architecture and deliver production-ready pipelines along with documented datasets.
• Cultivate a high-performing engineering culture and position data engineering as a strategic facilitator for AI and data initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in building brands, developing scalable systems, and achieving measurable marketing results.
• Proficient in people management, including conducting one-on-ones, performance evaluations, and career development.
• Familiar with best practices in data engineering, design patterns, testing strategies, and operational discipline.
• Capable of facilitating agile planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and prioritization.
• Skilled in translating business requirements into well-defined, incremental stories.
• Experienced in designing and scaling Snowflake-based data platforms, ingestion architectures, and AI interface layers.
• Knowledgeable in overseeing integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, Zendesk, Jira, and Confluence.
• Understanding of data ownership, access management, lineage visibility, testing/validation, and automated pipeline monitoring.
• Proficient with Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, and Looker.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
