Data Engineer – Python Automation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Analyzing, documenting, and optimizing inherited automations/RPAs and current web extraction workflows.

• Designing and implementing automated scripts and processes in Python for mass data extraction and API consumption/creation.

• Proposing, structuring, and deploying infrastructure on AWS or GCP to execute, schedule, and monitor solutions.

• Ensuring data availability and quality at the backend for analytics and BI teams.

• Suggesting technological improvements and new tools to enhance operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python for scripting, web frameworks/APIs (FastAPI, Django, or Flask), and automation/scraping libraries (Selenium, Playwright, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy).

• Strong experience in creating and maintaining RPA bots through programming.

• Ability to understand business needs, propose a foundational architecture, and deploy solutions on AWS or GCP.

• Extensive experience in developing and consuming REST/JSON APIs.

• Analytical and research skills to decipher complex or poorly documented code and solve problems independently.

• Proactive in proposing new methodologies and adaptable to work in a dynamic environment.

• Previous experience in the Fintech industry, financial services, or handling regulatory/macroeconomic data (preferred).

• Basic knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database structures for BI consumption (preferred).
