This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, develop, and enhance data pipelines to meet reporting and analytics needs.
• Implement and oversee reporting solutions utilizing tools such as Metabase, creating user-friendly dashboards and visualizations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect requirements, establish KPIs, and provide actionable insights through reports.
• Execute data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation to prepare datasets for reporting purposes.
• Monitor and resolve issues in data pipelines and reporting processes to maintain reliability and performance.
• Assist in data-driven decision-making initiatives in collaboration with team members.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering, reporting, and analytics.
• Transform data into valuable insights by designing, developing, and maintaining reporting and analytics solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability, improving data accessibility for clients and internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in data management, database administration, or data analytics are advantageous.
• Practical experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong grasp of database design, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Experience with Python programming language is preferred.
• Basic understanding of API development is considered a bonus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
