This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

• Assist in the strategy, procurement, and commercial operations of data centres throughout the Americas, encompassing both North and Latin America.

• Collaborate closely with the Director of Data Centre Strategy and regional teams in EMEA and APAC.

• Evaluate and create business cases to facilitate data centre growth, optimization, and various strategic projects.

• Aid in supplier negotiations and oversee commercial discussions with data centre operators and infrastructure partners.

• Contribute to formulating the annual cost of goods sold (COGS) budget.

• Work with Finance to generate monthly COGS reports, which include value-added insights.

• Deliver monthly updates on key performance indicators related to data centre and network expenses.

• Collaborate with Network Engineering and Operations teams to support data centre strategies and network development.

• Keep abreast of market intelligence regarding data centre operators, facilities, pricing, and industry trends.

• Ensure the accuracy of procurement, supplier, contract, and commercial documentation.

• Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by management.

• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, business development, telecommunications, data centres, or a related field.

• Experience in managing contracts and suppliers, preferably across multiple vendors or regions.

• Commercial insight into data centre services, colocation, network transport, internet transit, or similar telecommunications infrastructure.

• Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies is preferred.

• Confidence in reviewing contractual agreements and engaging with suppliers in commercial negotiations.

• Strong analytical and financial capabilities, with experience in budgeting, business case development, or cost analysis.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks with great attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative on tasks, and collaborate effectively across various time zones.
