This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the strategic planning, design, and execution of sophisticated data center network solutions for clients.
• Design high-performance infrastructures that support AI factories, large-scale accelerated computing, and enterprise data center settings.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance technology adoption.
• Provide insights to engineering and product marketing teams to influence technical strategy.
• Offer expert Ethernet advice throughout the entire customer engagement process.
• Design, architect, and validate contemporary data center networks.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams that support server infrastructure, GPU-accelerated workloads, and AI/ML implementations.
• Develop and assess DevOps automation for network operations, including configuration templates, deployment pipelines, and switch provisioning.
• Implement and validate network architectures within customer data centers.
• Assist in customer design workshops, testing phases, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions, produce documentation, and facilitate deployment transitions.
• A minimum of 7 years of practical networking experience, encompassing Layer 2/Layer 3 fundamentals, Ethernet switch configuration, TCP/IP principles, and data center architectures.
• Demonstrated capability to directly engage with customers to collect requirements, design next-generation fabric architectures, and validate solutions through lab simulations or PoCs.
• Extensive experience in configuring and troubleshooting VXLAN-EVPN-based data center fabrics.
• Proficient in automation tools such as Ansible, Salt, or Puppet.
• Ability to operate independently, effectively prioritize tasks, and enhance customer adoption and operational excellence.
• Experience in delivering knowledge transfer sessions, creating documentation, and aiding deployment handovers for customer interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• CCNP or an equivalent certification is a plus.
• Certifications in Linux administration or engineering.
• Advanced networking certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or ACE-E (with a preference for Data Center focus).
• Hands-on experience with Cumulus Linux / Cumulus OS.
• Understanding or certification in InfiniBand networking.
