This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create dashboards by comprehending business requirements, analyzing integrated data, and converting data into effective visual representations.
• Analyze dashboard results and articulate how to leverage dashboards to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to assess needs and prioritize product initiatives based on ad-hoc requests.
• Develop innovative analytical solutions.
• Improve data maturity and integration by standardizing essential value-added functions.
• Work alongside Data Analysts and Data Scientists on supply chain solutions.
• Act as a primary user of Ryder's Azure Data Lake.
• Construct analytical dashboards, reports, and queries to support strategic business decisions and ad-hoc analyses.
• Identify descriptive and prescriptive solutions for both internal Ryder teams and external customers.
• Examine fundamental business challenges and devise solutions that address root causes.
• Curate new data sources and provide actionable insights that extend beyond mere reporting and dashboarding.
• Assist in product innovation in collaboration with technology teams throughout the product development, testing, and release phases using agile methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members to help them achieve success.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field, Required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in creating dashboards for diagnostic analysis across various business functions.
• Experience in a cloud-based environment.
• At least 2 years of relevant project experience showcasing digital transformation and data management in an educational or project context.
• Proficient in developing BI solutions using Power BI.
• Required experience in developing BI solutions with Tableau.
• Familiarity with ETL tools like Alteryx or SSIS.
• Knowledge of SQL data manipulation tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in business language, Required.
• Capability to facilitate product innovation through the build, test, and release process using agile methodologies, Required.
• Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA, or a related field, Preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in an individual contributor role as a vital team member, Preferred.
