This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead or assist a two-person ventilation hygiene team in the areas of Reading, Slough, Bracknell, Redhill, and Oxford.
• Conduct fire damper inspections, testing, and drop tests.
• Clean commercial kitchen extraction systems in compliance with TR19 Grease standards.
• Perform ventilation and ductwork cleaning.
• Detect, document, and report any defects.
• Complete precise job reports accompanied by photographic evidence.
• Operate safely and professionally at customer locations.
• For Team Leaders, oversee team leadership, site productivity, health and safety, and quality of work.
• For 2nd Engineers, assist the Team Leader in executing tasks efficiently and to the required standards.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the UK, including necessary overnight stays.
• Work day and night shifts according to operational needs.
• Essential previous experience in ventilation hygiene, fire damper testing, ductwork cleaning, or a related role.
• Team leadership experience is advantageous for the Team Leader role.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the position for 2nd Engineer roles.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• A valid CSCS card is necessary.
• Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
• A practical, can-do attitude is essential.
• Good physical fitness and readiness to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to health & safety practices.
• Effective communication and customer service skills are required.
• Availability to work day and night shifts, including 10-hour shifts and travel commitments.
• Capability to travel to customer sites across the UK, including overnight stays as needed.
• Excellent earning potential – realistic OTE of £40k+ through bonuses, travel time, and overtime.
• Regular overtime at a rate of 1.5x pay, with opportunities for weekend work.
• Provision of a company vehicle and fuel card.
