D365 CE Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect requirements and document business workflows.

• Set up Dynamics 365 CE and leverage Power Platform functionalities.

• Assist with testing and training, facilitating client adoption of CRM/CX solutions.

• Engage in discovery and design discussions.

• Configure model-driven applications, tables, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, business process flows, queues, routing, security roles, and basic automation.

• Provide support for Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights, and associated CE/CX functionalities.

• Create functional design documents, process diagrams, configuration workbooks, testing scripts, training materials, and content for user adoption.

• Ensure requirements traceability throughout discovery, user stories, design, configuration, testing, UAT, and training resources.

• Assist with backlog refinement, sprint demonstrations, CRP/UAT planning, test execution, defect management, release readiness, go-live support, and hypercare.

• Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations, data migration, reporting, security, and custom extensions.

• Assess standard functionalities against customizations and escalate risks related to scope, adoption, data, and processes.

• Stay informed about Microsoft Copilot, embedded intelligence, Power BI, and automation capabilities.

• Senior consultants will manage specific workstreams with minimal oversight and mentor junior team members as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in implementing or supporting Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights, or similar CRM platforms.

• Proficient understanding of Dataverse, model-driven applications, Power Automate, dashboards, basic reporting, Microsoft 365 integration, and user security principles.

• Capable of producing clear documentation, managing assigned tasks, communicating progress, and effectively collaborating with clients and internal teams.

• Knowledge of agile delivery methodologies, user stories, acceptance criteria, test management, training, and change/adoption principles.

• Recommended certifications include PL-200; MB-280, MB-230, MB-240, or relevant CE module certifications preferred.
