D365 Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Provide support for the D365 Finance & Operations ERP platform.

• Convert business requirements into actionable system solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders in Finance, Supply Chain, Project Management & Accounting, and operations.

• Engage in requirements gathering, solution discussions, and process evaluations.

• Transform business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.

• Implement D365 best practices when assessing processes and solutions.

• Assist in functional design and configuration across D365 F&O modules.

• Outline functional requirements for extensions, integrations, workflows, and reports.

• Partner with developers and implementation teams.

• Offer daily functional support, issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.

• Execute configuration updates and data corrections.

• Aid in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

• Conduct regression testing and verify upgrade readiness.

• Review release notes, deprecated features, and enable new functionalities.

• Confirm fixes and secure business approval prior to production deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience as an ERP Business / Functional Analyst.

• Practical experience with D365 Finance & Operations, particularly with the Project Accounting module.

• Demonstrated expertise in upgrades, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enterprise ERP systems.

• Experience in providing production support within a live ERP environment.

• Capacity to work 40 hours each week, across 5 days.

• Capability to meet the physical and mental demands of the role, including prolonged sitting or standing and occasionally lifting items up to 25 pounds.
