This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +4 more states.
β’ Deliver remote and onsite technical assistance for AR / HC equipment.
β’ Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and process-related issues.
β’ Carry out preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks.
β’ Install, commission, calibrate, and validate various equipment.
β’ Analyze schematics and interpret technical documentation.
β’ Evaluate equipment performance and support enhancement efforts.
β’ Provide training sessions to customer teams.
β’ Service and troubleshoot Polycold refrigeration systems.
β’ Execute diagnostics including pressure analysis and leak detection.
β’ Conduct evacuation, charging, and refrigerant regassing procedures.
β’ Ensure adherence to refrigerant handling regulations.
β’ Uphold contamination control and maintain system cleanliness.
β’ Support Level 1 service activities and established procedures.
β’ Guarantee availability of tools, spare parts, and refrigerants.
β’ Manage technical issues until full resolution.
β’ Maintain comprehensive service reports and documentation.
β’ Ensure compliance with ZEISS and customer safety standards.
β’ Identify opportunities for performance improvements.
β’ Collaborate effectively with internal teams.
β’ Travel as necessary (50-80%).
β’ Assist in training and knowledge transfer initiatives.
β’ Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
β’ Provide broader technical support as needed.
β’ Degree or trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, or equivalent experience.
β’ Certification in the safe handling of refrigerants and regassing.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining refrigeration equipment in industrial settings.
β’ Preferred: At least 2 years of experience with Polycold systems.
β’ Preferred: At least 2 years of experience with AR coating systems.
β’ Capability to provide both remote and onsite technical support.
β’ Proficiency in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and process issues.
β’ Skill in installing, commissioning, calibrating, and validating equipment.
β’ Ability to interpret schematics and technical documents.
β’ Expertise in servicing and troubleshooting Polycold refrigeration systems.
β’ Competence in performing pressure analysis and leak detection.
β’ Skill in conducting evacuation, charging, and refrigerant regassing.
β’ Compliance with regulations related to refrigerant handling.
β’ Ability to utilize electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration service tools and diagnostic equipment.
