This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Providing servicing for diagnostics (DX) equipment in the Reno, NV area.
• Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer locations with minimal oversight.
• Executing timely and effective repairs while delivering adequate training to operators to ensure optimal system performance, leading to enhanced customer satisfaction.
• Overseeing financial performance within their territory, achieving or surpassing budget goals for revenue generation, expense management, and inventory control.
• Managing company assets, which include a company vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
• Establishing and nurturing professional relationships with customers and colleagues, while accurately performing necessary administrative tasks.
• A minimum of a high school diploma; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent experience/education is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments is required.
• Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the capability to work independently as well as within an established team environment.
• A general understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
• Expertise in all essential network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
