Customer Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute resource and logistics tasks for services and maintenance at client locations.

• Assist in the upkeep, repair, and refurbishment of sold or existing products.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance services.

• Oversee maintenance facilities and field services engineering.

• Conduct onsite life extension, repair, and inspection-related service activities for installed fleets.

• Supervise the construction and commissioning of both new and existing equipment at client sites.

• Utilize professional discipline knowledge and specialized technical skills.

• Address issues within established protocols and seek guidance from senior team members when necessary.

• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve challenges.

• Act as the liaison between clients and GE for customer-focused tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• Fundamental experience in Services & Field Services.

• Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma complemented by relevant experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in Services and Field Services.

• Capability to perform onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.

• Proficient in making engineering decisions.

• Skilled in resolving issues using established procedures.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with others and build strong customer relationships.

• For customer-facing roles, capacity to exchange technical information, pose questions, and ensure understanding.
