This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.
• Create and present compelling, tailored demonstrations that highlight how CoLab alleviates customer challenges and provides value.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to address customer issues related to mechanical design and engineering applications.
• Gain a thorough understanding of customers’ existing workflows, challenges, and desired business outcomes.
• Align customer workflows with CoLab features and encourage customers to consider innovative working methodologies.
• Provide guidance to customers and prospects regarding AI opportunities in mechanical engineering.
• Work alongside Product Managers on new product initiatives and relay customer insights to the Product team.
• Educate cross-functional teams on engineering-related topics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to enhance go-to-market strategies and improve customer experience.
• Analyze design review and engineering workflows to establish implementable target-state processes.
• Lead change management initiatives and ensure the effective deployment of new engineering practices.
• Implement and optimize CoLab AI capabilities in accordance with customer standards, checklists, and design guidelines.
• Communicate business value, ROI, and impact to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive adoption across new teams, programs, and locations within customer accounts.
• Utilize expertise in aerospace and defense, including configuration management, program review gates, supplier dynamics, and export-controlled environments.
• Travel for quarterly team meetings, customer site visits, and industry conferences.
• Extensive experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, medical devices, or other intricate mechanical sectors.
• Proficient in delivering presentations to both technical and C-level audiences while translating engineering challenges into business solutions.
• Capability to work collaboratively across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt technical conversations for diverse audiences.
• Capacity to manage multiple strategic and tactical projects concurrently.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with CAD/PLM tools.
• Ability to comprehend use cases and demonstrate industry domain expertise to build customer credibility.
• Skill in simplifying complex subjects for broader understanding.
• Background in mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on experience in product development, engineering processes, and design within an aerospace and defense context.
• Familiarity with change management and implementing new tools or processes in engineering settings.
• Team-oriented approach with a sense of ownership.
• Ability to cultivate trust and strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Competence in producing content, delivering demonstrations, and independently meeting stringent deadlines.
• Experience in solutions engineering or customer success is advantageous.
