Customer Project Manager – Technical Projects, Food Processing Machinery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Implement advanced process solutions for TOMRA Food's key clients.

• Establish, execute, and oversee a structured stage gate process from pre-sale discussions to final commissioning.

• Lead collaboration with internal TOMRA teams and coordinate interactions with third-party partners.

• Manage projects from the quotation phase through commissioning, including overseeing on-site installations.

• Assist the Sales team with project costing and risk assessment during the quotation phase.

• Cultivate expertise in equipment, processes, and products to aid in solution development.

• Communicate customer design standards and expectations clearly to the project design team.

• Build and sustain relationships with third-party vendors.

• Provide support during negotiations with equipment suppliers.

• Manage project budgets and oversee change orders.

• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure project timelines are adhered to.

• Ensure that projects are in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

• Conduct regular customer visits employing a hands-on project management approach.

• Facilitate the handover of projects to the Service Organization.

• Document and investigate incidents as they arise.

• Report and document hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement necessary control measures.

• Supervise and train both employees and contractors.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a design or project role relevant to the industry.

• Proficient in both Arabic and English.

• Experience in the food or machinery sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.

• Customer-oriented approach.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated practical problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Capable of understanding and complying with health and safety responsibilities, legal obligations, and TOMRA Safe standards.
