Customer Operations Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Process orders, inquiries, concerns, and requests related to Purina products and services through phone, email, and fax.

• Oversee the customer journey from order placement to invoicing for assigned accounts.

• Guide cross-functional teams to ensure that customer fulfillment expectations are met.

• Adhere to business processes, cost considerations, and quality standards.

• Proactively identify issues, ascertain root causes, and facilitate resolution of customer order fulfillment challenges.

• Make independent decisions and coordinate collaborative efforts to ensure timely resolutions.

• Engage in communication, collaboration, and negotiation with both internal and external customers, as well as supply chain partners.

• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to anticipate needs and deliver proactive service.

• Balance adherence to business practices with necessary exceptions based on circumstances.

• Navigate multiple systems and comprehend how information inputs influence systems and business decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• 2 to 4 years of relevant customer service experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).

• Flexibility to work any scheduled hours between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm CST.

• Candidates must reside in MO, IA, MN, WI, or IL.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce, including account management, maintenance, call logging, note-taking, and service request management.

• Familiarity with JDE E1 and SAP order entry systems.

• A quiet and uninterrupted work environment is necessary.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively both individually and in teams.

• Comfortable addressing conflicts while maintaining integrity and quality in work.

• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Capable of prioritizing, planning, and solving problems efficiently.

• Experience with SAP is preferred.
