
Customer Marketing Manager – Contract-to-Hire

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the representative for customer marketing throughout the product release process, influencing how launches resonate with current customers.
• Convert product marketing positioning and messaging into communications aimed at customers during releases.
• Take ownership of messaging for product release notes, announcement content, in-app prompts, and enablement one-pagers.
• Categorize the installed base by product usage, entitlement, and customer persona.
• Create ongoing narratives that explain “what’s new and why it matters for you” for customers.
• Develop strategies for expansion and cross-selling by analyzing product usage, identifying entitlement gaps, and monitoring account signals.
• Collaborate with demand generation teams to transform expansion strategies into effective campaigns.
• Work alongside Customer Success and Sales to confirm expansion possibilities.
• Assist with renewal strategies by providing usage summaries, program outcomes, and framing the ROI.
• Highlight adoption gaps and accounts with low usage to Customer Success, Product, and Product Marketing teams.
• Create customer-oriented materials that facilitate discussions on adoption and expansion.
• Lead customer email campaigns from strategic planning through to results, including defining the audience, writing copy, briefing, analyzing, and iterating.
• Oversee the communication calendar for the installed base.
• Manage the cadence of the customer newsletter and product updates.
• Collaborate and brief internal teams in content, web, design, and email regarding adoption materials.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a closely related field.
• Experience in B2B SaaS is essential.
• Proven ability to produce clear, customer-facing copy with minimal editing.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
• Experience working in a lean manner: able to build as well as execute.
• Familiarity with AI tools, marketing automation, and email marketing platforms.
• Experience in supplier diversity is preferred.
