This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.
• Act as the authoritative voice on the phone, assisting customers in identifying, evaluating, and purchasing aftermarket automotive products.
• Employ a consultative method to propose solutions, clarify product advantages, and direct customers towards making informed purchasing decisions.
• Offer technical support and product recommendations through email and other platforms.
• Make autonomous decisions related to the suitable application of products.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of aftermarket automotive technology pertaining to Race Cars, Hot Rods, and Muscle Cars.
• Act as a technical resource for customers and internal teams, including sales and customer support personnel.
• Support product and e-commerce teams in crafting and updating web content.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product visibility, customer interaction, and sales performance.
• Contribute to the development of training materials for technicians and sales teams.
• Engage in creating technical content such as videos, technical articles, instruction sheets, and product reviews.
• Represent Speedway Motors at industry trade shows and events.
• Enhance processes, propose productivity improvements, and streamline employee workflows.
• Ensure reliable and timely attendance while fulfilling assigned responsibilities.
• Pursue continuous improvement and professional development.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• A strong passion for muscle cars, hot rods, and performance vehicles.
• Exceptional communication abilities for providing support and guidance to customers remotely.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute.
• Familiarity with web navigation, search engines, Outlook, and essential computer applications.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Comfort in merging technical knowledge with a sales approach.
• Capability to steer customer discussions and suggest suitable products.
• Customer-oriented mindset to identify needs and recommend products that align with customer goals, budget, and vision.
• Skill in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aftermarket automotive technology related to constructing, tuning, and maintaining race cars, hot rods, or muscle cars.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
• Ability to work remotely from Nebraska, Arizona, West Virginia, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods while using multiple computer monitors.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry less than 25 lbs. and infrequently push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in frequent pinching, grasping, and fine finger manipulation for computer and phone tasks.
