This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +35 more states.
• Manage a designated territory of customer accounts.
• Focus on a data-driven, regularly updated list of accounts that present significant cross-sell opportunities.
• Achieve or surpass an annual revenue quota for expansion.
• Conduct a consultative, needs-based sales approach from qualification to closing, encompassing discovery, proposal, and negotiation.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) for seamless handoffs, account insights, and coordinated outreach.
• Ensure accurate forecasting of the pipeline and tracking of opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Vanco's Payments, ChMS/Realm, and additional modules.
• Identify and position the most suitable product for customer needs.
• Convey customer insights to Product and Marketing regarding factors influencing cross-sell opportunities and challenges.
• Work with the broader CAE team on best practices, competitive positioning, and strategic territory planning.
• Travel may be required based on the geographical location of the territory.
• Over 5 years of experience in a sales role with quota responsibilities, preferably in account-based or expansion selling to an existing customer base.
• Background in selling to faith-based, nonprofit, education, or community organizations.
• Proven history of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
• Experience overseeing a multi-account territory or business portfolio.
• Comfortable with a consultative sales process that involves various stakeholders, including pastors, church administrators, and finance teams.
• Proficient in CRM systems, such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Strong forecasting skills.
• Excellent discovery and needs-based selling capabilities.
• Ability to quickly establish trust with existing customers without prior personal relationships.
• Prefer working from a data-driven target list instead of cold calling.
• Organized in pipeline management and forecasting practices.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to working with CSMs.
• Resilient and self-motivated.
