This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the development of training curricula and instructional materials for various target audiences.
• Evaluate training requirements for the initiation of new products, processes, and systems.
• Establish timelines for the development, delivery, and assessment of training methods.
• Create and implement educational programs for onboarding, role transitions, product updates, process improvements, and technology training.
• Formulate instructional strategies, course content, assessment methods, and integrate instructional technology.
• Design and create print materials, graphics, audio, video, and multimedia resources for learning.
• Manage instructional design projects from the initial concept through to final execution.
• Coordinate multimedia technology and authoring tools for online educational platforms.
• Encourage the increased use of Course Management Software tools.
• Provide training to instructional staff on technology tools, instructional software, techniques, and multimedia resources.
• Investigate and suggest educational best practices, instructional resources, technologies, and multimedia hardware/software.
• Assess training methods and delivery technology, document results, and spearhead improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Trainers to ensure that learning materials remain current.
• Lead the development of a Learning Management System for Sales training teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 4 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
• A minimum of two years of experience facilitating in-person or virtual training sessions.
• Proficiency with instructional software such as Captivate, Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK), and similar tools.
• In-depth understanding of training development best practices, including adult learning theories, learning preferences, and crafting and evaluating effective objectives.
• Familiarity with research methodologies and techniques.
• Strong grasp of instructional design processes and strategies, development of instructional media and materials, curriculum standards, and assessments.
• Demonstrated success in designing extensive, intricate training implementations for new systems and processes, assessing needs, defining scope, and effectively utilizing resources.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with all organizational levels.
• Outstanding time management skills and the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capacity to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• For remote or hybrid positions, a high level of engagement in virtual settings, including maintaining a visible presence during meetings.
