CTE Teacher – Business/Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Oversee instructional programs remotely from an office located in Nevada.

• Regularly engage with learning coaches and students using phone, internet, and curriculum tools.

• Complete grading tasks, generate progress reports, and hold parent conferences.

• Facilitate asynchronous web conferencing sessions as well as synchronous instruction.

• Evaluate curriculum and develop alternative approaches for lesson presentations.

• Create and revise Personal Learning Plans along with schedules.

• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.

• Recommend instructional strategies and approaches.

• Monitor assignment completion and guide special projects.

• Collaborate with teachers to enhance student progress and allocate tasks effectively.

• Cultivate a general understanding of the K-12 curriculum while possessing in-depth knowledge of assigned courses.

• Assist students and parents with alternative strategies and support for assignments and projects.

• Keep up-to-date student records and data, including cumulative files, family information, attendance, and contact logs.

• Work with teachers and learning specialists to create enrichment activities and modifications for student programs.

• Organize social activities and relevant field trips.

• Manage regional field trips and integrate them into the curriculum effectively.

• Establish and maintain a thriving virtual school community.

• Take part in the organization and administration of State Testing.

• Engage in student recruitment sessions and marketing initiatives requiring teacher representation.

• Collaborate with School Counselors to facilitate communications, track student progress, and achieve established goals.

• Attend field trips and community events for families.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Math in Nevada, aligned with grade level and subject area responsibilities.

• Proficient technology skills, particularly in Microsoft OS and MS Office applications.

• Exceptional oral and written communication capabilities.

• Customer-oriented mindset.

• High level of adaptability.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated history of being a team player.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, possibly including overnight stays.

• Capability to work remotely if required.

• Availability to work occasional evenings as needed to support families.
