This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.
• Localize and implement national marketing strategies across designated districts and territories
• Oversee regional execution planning in line with portfolio objectives and business priorities
• Collaborate with sales and marketing stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for growth and market expansion
• Provide insights to Portfolio Marketing Leaders regarding market demands, customer perspectives, and competitive landscapes
• Create and execute regional and district marketing plans that align with business objectives and customer segmentation strategies
• Organize marketing initiatives, promotional activities, and resource allocations
• Set measurable objectives, KPIs, and execution plans for local marketing efforts
• Assist district teams in the retailer business planning processes
• Align district and territory plans with retailer growth objectives and classification priorities
• Guide and direct sales teams regarding local resource distribution decisions
• Ensure marketing investments are aligned with retailer classification and business planning processes
• Collect and disseminate insights related to customers, retailers, the marketplace, and competition
• Identify upcoming opportunities, risks, and trends that could affect business performance
• Develop business cases and provide recommendations for strategic decision-making
• Act as the voice of the field during marketing discussions and planning processes
• Create and execute regional launch plans that are in sync with national launch strategies
• Coordinate launch readiness activities, stakeholder engagement, and execution tracking
• Ensure market acceptance through localized messaging, training, and activation strategies
• Lead communication, training, and adoption of marketing programs within the assigned regions
• Monitor program performance and suggest optimizations
• Serve as a local resource for the implementation and accountability of marketing programs
• Support the stewardship of approved marketing claims and program guidelines
• Cultivate partnerships across Marketing, Sales, Account Management, MarComm, Business Insights, Customer Service, and Seed organizations
• Facilitate collaboration between field and marketing teams
• Influence stakeholders without direct authority to advance business priorities and strategic outcomes
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Experience in agricultural sales, marketing, account management, or business development
• Strong knowledge of crop production systems, retailer channels, and agricultural markets
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, strategic planning, and influencing skills
• Capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in launching agricultural products, marketing strategy, or retailer business planning
• Preferred: Strong analytical skills and business insight capabilities
• Preferred: Proven success in influencing outcomes across various stakeholder groups
• Must reside within the specified area
