Crisis Intervention Specialist, Call Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer clinical direction, consultation, and debriefing to Crisis Specialists during ongoing 988 interactions

• Facilitate support across phone, chat, and text communication platforms

• Collaborate with clinicians and supervisors on high-acuity and intricate situations

• Review and finalize documentation to maintain quality, accuracy, and compliance

• Assist in onboarding, coaching, and skill development for new team members

• Provide queue coverage to help minimize wait times when necessary

• Engage in training sessions, meetings, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives

• Deliver real-time assistance through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related discipline

• Familiarity with the King County public mental health system (preferred)

• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

• Strong communication abilities and ease in navigating various technology platforms

• A collaborative approach and dedication to providing compassionate care

• Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential must be acquired by the end of the probationary period

• Applications for the AAC credential must be submitted within 30 days of hire

• A private and confidential workspace is required

• High-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps both upload and download)

• A smartphone capable of supporting multi-factor authentication

• Candidates must live in WA, AZ, OH, or TX
