Credit Resolution Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Investigate billing and payment posting discrepancies raised by patients, insurance providers, or other stakeholders.

• Communicate findings to customers following departmental policies and procedures.

• Amend payment postings as necessary.

• Make adjustments to accounts.

• Handle refunds and contractual modifications.

• Reconcile reports.

• Record findings accurately.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in cash posting, credits, or insurance billing within a healthcare setting is required.

• Two years of post-secondary education is preferred.

• Five years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with insurance claims processing and third-party reimbursement methods is preferred.

• Understanding of Federal, State, and third-party payer billing regulations is preferred.

• Strong oral and written communication abilities.

• Effective interpersonal communication skills.

• Capability to show initiative and readily accept responsibilities while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Proficiency in managing challenging interactions with difficult individuals or situations, including families of deceased persons.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and exercise sound judgment.

• Residency in Washington State is required.
