This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Assist in conducting financial analysis, assessing credit risk, evaluating risk ratings, and structuring facilities for designated corporate relationships.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Senior Relationship Managers while engaging with customers.
• Prepare comprehensive Credit Proposals that encompass new applications, annual renewals, and modifications.
• Coordinate with the Credit Risk Management and Compliance Unit to address risk and compliance inquiries.
• Review transactions, facility structures, and credit products in collaboration with CIBG Relationship Teams and WRM.
• Offer business solutions that adhere to credit and operational risk guidelines and policies.
• Ensure a swift and timely turnaround of Credit Proposals while upholding the quality of analysis.
• Confirm that proposal terms meet client expectations and keep track of exposures, RAROC, and overall profitability.
• Follow up with the Credit Control Unit regarding monitoring mechanisms as mandated by Lending Guidelines and Credit Policy.
• Analyze Early Alert instances and promptly escalate these to the Direct Supervisor.
• Serve as the Relationship Manager in the absence of the RM and provide direction to the team.
• Comprehend and comply with the regulatory and legal framework, banking conventions, agreements, and practices.
• Adhere to Mashreqbank policies, guidelines, and manuals, including those related to risk, operations, and Anti-Money Laundering.
• Oversee and report on portfolio quality, size, and composition, ensuring compliance with risk/return guidelines.
• Monitor, report, and suggest actions when the relationship or deal risk profiles evolve.
• Comment on client account conduct and behavior.
• Provide tailored financial solutions to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including CRM, IBG, TCM, and OPS, as well as external CIBG customers.
• A minimum of 7-9 years of experience in credit or financial analysis at a similar level within banking or a related field.
• A degree in Business or Economics.
• Familiarity with the local market and adequate knowledge of the bank's products and operational systems.
• Exceptional command of both verbal and written English.
• Proficiency in Arabic would be an additional advantage.
• Knowledgeable about banking laws and local regulations.
