Credit Policy Analyst – Mid/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assess the performance and quality of vintages along with the credit portfolio, pinpointing trends, risks, and areas for optimization.

• Analyze, design, and manage credit policies aimed at enhancing approval rates while ensuring stringent control over default levels and anticipated losses.

• Create simulation models, conduct A/B testing, and perform sensitivity analyses to aid in strategic lending and credit limit determinations.

• Enhance monitoring processes and regular reporting, ensuring improved predictability of metrics for leadership and partner teams (Product, Risk, Commercial, and Finance).

• Grasp real estate business dynamics to form well-informed assumptions and recommendations for decision-making purposes.

• Work collaboratively with Data, Technology, and Product teams to facilitate the implementation of new rules and enhancements in decision-making engines.

• Play a role in developing risk mitigation processes and fostering Loft’s data-driven culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with credit policy management, default indicators, risk management, and portfolio/vintage analysis.

• Strong analytical abilities to transform complex data into clear diagnostics and strategic business insights.

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).

• Business acumen to balance the growth of approvals with portfolio risk management.

• Clear and assertive communication skills to present analyses, scenarios, and recommendations to varied audiences, aiding executive decision-making.

• Proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with a focus on results in a dynamic environment.

• Previous experience in fintechs, financial institutions, or the real estate/tenant guarantee market is an advantage.
