Credit Card Program Implementation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Create a roadmap for card implementation that outlines dependencies, risks, resource requirements, and critical decision points.

• Oversee and execute the card program implementation within the issuer’s framework.

• Ensure alignment of objectives, timelines, deliverables, ownership, and key decisions among stakeholders.

• Manage communication plans and activities for stakeholder engagement.

• Identify challenges related to adoption and risks associated with implementation.

• Assist business teams in navigating process, policy, operational, and technological changes.

• Facilitate coordination between internal teams and third-party partners.

• Monitor action items, dependencies, deliverables, and the progress of implementation.

• Raise issues and risks while aiding in resolution efforts.

• Act as an integrated strategic and execution partner for initiatives related to the issuer’s consumer card business.

• Connect various teams including business, credit, marketing, operations, technology, analytics, risk, compliance, and vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in credit cards, consumer lending, banking, financial services consulting, program management, product management, portfolio management, operations, or business strategy.

• Proven experience in supporting the launch of card programs and managing complex cross-functional initiatives.

• Familiarity with working alongside multiple stakeholders in highly matrixed environments.

• Strong capabilities in project and program management.

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and influence.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in executive communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to navigate through ambiguity and propel progress in complex organizational structures.

• Knowledge of the credit card industry.
