Credential Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement and uphold comprehensive password management policies and procedures to safeguard access to client EMR systems.

• Maintain a secure storage solution for organizational passwords that includes encrypted storage and controlled access.

• Regularly refresh passwords to comply with security best practices and regulatory standards.

• Oversee and manage access rights to the EMR system based on roles and operational needs.

• Support teams by ensuring necessary credentials are available for smooth operations.

• Collaborate with Client Advocates, Clients, and Operational Teams regarding credential additions, modifications, and removals.

• Elevate issues to management and address access disruptions or compromises promptly.

• Investigate incidents and restore secure access as needed.

• Keep detailed records of access issues and their resolutions using the ticketing system.

• Produce regular reports on access integrity and security incidents for senior management review.

• Work alongside IT security teams to improve cybersecurity measures and credential-management practices.

• Educate and guide staff on secure password protocols and safeguarding sensitive client information.

• Ensure staff are adequately trained and onboarded to HealthMark Group’s password management platform.

• Collaborate with partner teams to ensure compliance with established policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT security or password management roles, ideally within a healthcare or sensitive data context.

• Strong comprehension of compliance regulations impacting EMR access and data security (e.g., HIPAA).

• Proficient in using password management software and encryption technologies.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective crisis management skills.

• Outstanding communication skills, with the capacity to convey technical details to non-technical audiences.

• Must comply with HIPAA regulations and organizational privacy and security protocols.

• Required to complete all mandated company-sponsored and regulatory training programs.
