Creative Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify and source creative talent across various fields including production, animation, cinematography, editing, design, and other creative roles.

• Evaluate portfolios, reels, resumes, and previous work to select strong candidates.

• Perform initial outreach, conduct screenings, and facilitate introductory interviews.

• Organize and enhance the hiring process, candidate pipeline, and recruitment systems.

• Collaborate with leadership to grasp hiring needs, skill shortages, and role specifications.

• Manage interview scheduling, feedback collection, and candidate communications.

• Build relationships with high-quality creative talent proactively before hiring needs become pressing.

• Assist in crafting and refining job postings and recruitment materials.

• Support hiring initiatives for freelance/contract and full-time positions.

• Aid Nen Creative in scaling its recruitment pipeline across creative, production, operations, and client leadership roles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Strong understanding of creative sectors, including video production, motion design, branding, or digital design.

• Possess strong creative judgment with the ability to evaluate portfolios and reels effectively.

• Comfortable engaging with creative talent and assessing fit beyond just technical abilities.

• Experience in recruiting for creative, agency, startup, or production environments is preferred.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

• Strong proficiency in utilizing tools and AI to enhance workflows.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.

• Must be willing to work late nights and weekends as necessary; this is not a typical 9-5 position.
