Creative Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as the creative authority for Brainrider's client portfolio.

• Evaluate creative outputs and offer constructive feedback to designers, art directors, and partner studios.

• Ensure that all work adheres to brand guidelines, creative briefs, and client objectives.

• Deliver creative recommendations directly to clients.

• Assist in resolving creative challenges prior to client presentation.

• Develop creative review processes to enhance consistency among studio partners.

• Create creative playbooks, onboarding resources, and best practices for new studios.

• Set quality standards to mitigate recurring issues before client delivery.

• Mentor teams on brand execution and creative excellence.

• Collaborate with Brainrider's global studio network to enhance teamwork and creative quality.

• Foster relationships with studio creative leads.

• Support the onboarding of new studios and establish consistent operational practices.

• Identify opportunities to refine creative workflows across partners.

• Contribute to defining Brainrider's creative operating model as the company expands.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management and Project Management to enhance organizational workflows.

• Play a role in shaping creative leadership within Brainrider.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven background in design, art direction, or creative direction.

• Experience leading creative initiatives across various brands or clients.

• Strong creative judgment and confidence in providing constructive feedback.

• Experience working directly with clients and presenting creative proposals.

• Experience in mentoring designers and creative teams.

• Agency experience is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with developing creative standards, review processes, or brand governance is an advantage.
