Creative Developer – Mobile Games, Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Adapt and prototype gameplay elements in Unity, encompassing mechanics, visuals, features, user interfaces, cameras, and gameplay variations.

• Develop versatile Unity applications and internal tools for video and playable advertisement production.

• Create multiple game variations to evaluate hooks, mechanics, visuals, and player experiences.

• Troubleshoot, resolve issues, optimize performance, and guarantee technical reliability.

• Utilize advertising results and performance insights to enhance creative concepts and gameplay.

• Engage in brainstorming sessions and suggest gameplay, creative, and technical innovations.

• Utilize AI and emerging technologies to boost production efficiency and creativity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Creative Developer or Unity Developer focused on mobile games.

• Proficient in Unity and C# programming.

• Experience in modifying existing games, gameplay, mechanics, visuals, and features.

• Strong debugging and optimization capabilities.

• Ability to transform creative concepts into gameplay variations, prototypes, and effective advertisement ideas.

• Deep understanding of mobile gaming and creative processes.

• Familiarity with performance creatives, playable ads, and trends in social/mobile advertising.

• Quick prototyping and iteration abilities.

• Capacity to balance speed and quality within a high-volume, test-and-learn framework.

• Self-reliant and team-oriented approach.

• Capability to collaborate with Creative, Game Development, and User Acquisition teams.

• Proficient in using performance data to refine concepts.

• Experience with AI-assisted creative/development workflows, as well as tools like Blender, Photoshop, shaders, VFX, or Unity tools is a plus.
