This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
β’ Underwrite and oversee intricate commercial real estate loan originations within the Commercial Real Estate Division.
β’ Develop and evaluate commercial real estate credits, providing comprehensive recommendations.
β’ Collaborate with CRE Relationship Managers, Credit Administration, and Loan Administration to prepare credit opportunities.
β’ Analyze credit and financial data from customers, credit bureaus, financial institutions, and Bank records.
β’ Prepare credit requests, modifications, and extensions, along with project analyses, risk assessments, summaries, and recommendations.
β’ Work together on loan closings, review loan and entity documentation, and support loan budget preparation.
β’ Track and assess financial information for new, renewed, and existing loans.
β’ Monitor loan terms for covenant compliance, and manage loan files and monitoring systems.
β’ Oversee customer financial information and credit records, including tax returns, inventory, credit reports, financial statements, cash flows, and contingent liabilities.
β’ Maintain documentation that supports the Bank's lien position, and provide technical or advisory assistance to CRE Relationship Managers.
β’ Support customer relationship management and conduct site visits as needed.
β’ Manage portfolio priorities, including reporting issues, maturities, delinquencies, loan performance, construction progress, lease-up performance, covenant compliance, and risk ratings.
β’ Assist with periodic internal and external loan reviews.
β’ Adhere to policies, procedures, security requirements, government regulations, auditing protocols, and departmental objectives.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field is required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
β’ A minimum of 6 years of banking credit analysis experience is required.
β’ Possess advanced analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial accounting.
β’ Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements, cash flows, and tax returns for companies and individuals with moderate to complex structures.
β’ Knowledge of company formation structures along with borrowing and guaranty structures.
β’ Advanced skills in managing portfolio requirements, including reporting issues, concentrations, maturities, delinquencies, loan performance, construction progress, lease-up execution, covenant compliance, and risk ratings.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Competent in managing customer relationships and maintenance issues in the absence of CRE Relationship Managers.
β’ Ability to comprehend client needs, identify potential cross-selling opportunities, and engage in team calling objectives.
β’ Proficient in Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and similar software.
β’ Understanding of federal and state laws and regulations related to Commercial Real Estate Lending.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
