Courseware Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create training course materials through the analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT documentation and processes for military training.

• Collaborate with a team responsible for DSAT documentation and processes for military training sites and organizations.

• Generate, maintain, and revise Training Design from FTS, TPS, TOs, WTS, and RTGS using AStrat, ASpec, LSpec, and TrAD in DSAT-compliant course templates.

• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather necessary data.

• Participate in internal workshops to review and reach consensus on analysis findings.

• Maintain, update, and revalidate course syllabi and standards, including trainer competence, qualifications, and experience criteria.

• Maintain, update, and revalidate course information, encompassing course size limits, health and safety regulations, rules and regulations, course duration, support, and resources.

• Develop Training Design for new training needs, including those stemming from New Capabilities.

• Revise Training Design materials based on internal and external assurance recommendations and feedback.

• Identify potential opportunities for the accreditation of new or modified training and the implications for existing accreditations.

• Promote and nurture a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance and continual improvement.

• Travel to assist with internal and customer meetings and responsibilities.

• Outstanding communication abilities at all levels within the organization and with the customer.

• Proven experience in course design and contributing to the creation of significant training programs.

• Background in E-Learning.

• Strong working knowledge of training design and development processes for training media.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Familiarity with Articulate 360/Storyline.

• Must currently possess or be eligible and willing to obtain BPSS and SC clearance.

• Experience in organizational design and development (preferred).

• Experience in developing apprenticeship qualifications (preferred).

• Degree-level education in a relevant field (preferred).

• Teaching and training development qualification at the degree level (preferred).

• Human Resource Development qualification and experience (preferred).

• Membership in a relevant professional organization such as CIPD (preferred).
