Coupa Functional Lead – Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable partner for clients by providing customized integrated solutions.

• Guide key stakeholders throughout the processes of Coupa selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration.

• Engage directly in comprehensive implementation, project management, change management, requirement gathering and design, process enhancements, chart of accounts redesign, testing, integration support, supplier enablement, and best practice initiatives.

• Leverage the complete Coupa suite, encompassing Procurement, Payables, Expenses, and Asset Management.

• Create and execute firm-sanctioned AI-enabled client solutions while adhering to data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.

• Remain updated on new AI tools and techniques, identifying compliant opportunities in collaboration with firm leadership.

• Guide team members in their career growth as well as in developing both technical and interpersonal skills.

• Contribute to recruiting efforts, shadowing programs, marketing initiatives, business development, practice enhancement, and operational improvement activities.

• Initiate performance improvement and cost-reduction strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of consulting and/or relevant industry experience.

• Functional and technical expertise in implementing at least one module within a financial system solution such as Coupa, SAP, NetSuite, or Ariba.

• Experience in Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Sourcing, and/or Supply Chain Management.

• Proven history in designing and facilitating the setup and configuration of one or more Coupa modules.

• Background in business process re-engineering, analysis, project management, accounting/business workflow, end-to-end solution design, and technical specification documentation.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint.

• Capability to work with data related to export/import requirements, including data formatting and manipulation.

• Competence in creating design documentation for functional areas within sourcing, new vendor onboarding, procurement, accounts payable, and contracting.

• Proven ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools.

• Willingness to learn and implement emerging technologies such as AI and automation.

• Experience in mentoring junior team members and addressing complex, multifaceted challenges.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Openness to travel domestically 50–75% for project milestones.

• Coupa certification is preferred.
