Country QHSE Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic and operational oversight for Health & Safety initiatives nationwide.

• Convert global and regional H&S strategies into a practical roadmap tailored for the country.

• Facilitate the identification, assessment, and management of critical risks.

• Foster a robust safety culture while enhancing accountability and employee participation.

• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of preventative measures.

• Enhance organizational capabilities through the coaching, training, and development of H&S staff and operational leaders.

• Ensure adherence to local regulations and maintain compliance with SGS standards.

• Assist in the integration of H&S into acquisitions, projects, and operational transitions.

• Provide counsel to the Managing Director and leadership teams regarding Health & Safety governance and decision-making.

• Guarantee the effective execution of the Health & Safety Management System alongside measurable performance outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Health & Safety or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 10 years of experience in Health & Safety management, including leadership roles in complex or multi-site environments.

• Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) are preferred.

• Proven track record of leading change, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement.

• Experience in establishing site and laboratory operations.
