This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
β’ Deliver individual, family, and group therapy through telehealth for children, adolescents, and their families.
β’ Conduct intake assessments, risk evaluations, treatment plans, and safety plans under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor.
β’ Ensure precise clinical documentation is completed within 24 hours after each session.
β’ Participate in individual and group supervision, engage in case consultations, and monitor clinical and supervision hours.
β’ Fulfill the Backpack Residency Program curriculum, which includes didactic training, case consultations, and preparation for the licensure exam.
β’ Collaborate effectively with clinical leadership, care coordination, and administrative teams.
β’ Adhere to HIPAA regulations, state licensing laws, ethical standards, and clinical policies and procedures.
β’ Incorporate feedback, complete necessary training, and work towards achieving independent licensure.
β’ Meet the required weekly client contact hours: a minimum of 15 hours for part-time or 25 hours for full-time.
β’ Fulfill quarterly expectations related to clinical development, documentation quality, and professional behavior.
β’ Masterβs degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health discipline, either completed or in the final term of the program.
β’ Possession of an active provisional, associate-level, or equivalent license relevant to the residency track.
β’ Social Work Fellow: LMSW or state-equivalent provisional/associate social work license.
β’ Counselor Resident: LGPC or state-equivalent provisional/associate counseling license.
β’ Current residency and licensure in a state where Backpack Healthcare operates.
β’ Dedication to completing supervised clinical hours and achieving licensure milestones necessary for independent practice.
β’ Strong enthusiasm for working with children, adolescents, and families.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Openness to receiving feedback, participating in supervision, and ongoing development of clinical skills.
β’ Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, cultural humility, and a commitment to ethical, identity-affirming care.
