This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Manage clinical, technical, and scientific inquiries from both internal and external clients concerning precision oncology products.
β’ Offer clinical expertise to laboratory personnel and molecular geneticists regarding accessioning inquiries, modifications to test orders, and interpretation of results.
β’ Collaborate with molecular geneticists and various departments to ensure prompt and high-quality test outcomes.
β’ Contribute to the development of marketing materials and content for the website.
β’ Represent the company at scientific meetings and industry conferences.
β’ Build networks with other genetic counselors.
β’ Create educational materials and engage in public speaking.
β’ Maintain professional certification through continuous education.
β’ Facilitate the intake and execution of Special Projects.
β’ Execute specialized tasks that extend beyond typical genetic counselor responsibilities.
β’ Assist in training genetic counseling assistants.
β’ Adhere to the company's mission and values while complying with Quality Management System policies and procedures.
β’ Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
β’ Support behaviors that promote inclusivity.
β’ Travel locally and overnight to meet with clients and attend conferences.
β’ Masterβs Degree in Genetic Counseling.
β’ ABGC/CCGC Board Certified or eligible for certification.
β’ Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
β’ Over 2 years of experience in an Oncology Genetics clinical role (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with various oncology-related genomic technologies such as tumor NGS, ctDNA, and Molecular Residual Disease assays (preferred).
β’ Comprehensive understanding of human genetics.
β’ General knowledge of personalized healthcare, clinical genetics, laboratory medicine, and informatics.
β’ Ability to convey complex information in a simple manner to diverse audiences.
β’ Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
β’ Exceptional verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills.
β’ Capability to analyze complex issues.
β’ Proven track record in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
β’ Ability to adhere to a designated work schedule.
β’ Capacity to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
β’ Visual acuity to view computer screens and patient records.
β’ Ability to stand or sit for up to 50 minutes each hour.
β’ Hearing acuity to respond to laboratory alerts and hear telephones, doorbells, and security alarms.
β’ Ability to navigate throughout the building.
β’ Will operate within standard office and genetic testing laboratory environments.
β’ Maintain professional certification through ongoing education.
β’ Some local and overnight travel to meet with clients and attend conferences.
