This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Provide direct counseling services to clients, including families, couples, and children, through telehealth, engaging with patients, parents, siblings, and other involved parties.
• Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques customized to meet each client’s specific needs, such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and families, maintaining a focus on relational ethics.
• Involve team members to ensure comprehensive family support and facilitate the sharing of information and ideas.
• Attend family care meetings with other providers as necessary.
• May offer clinical mentorship by participating in the Clinical Ladder Program.
• A Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related discipline.
• A current and unrestricted license to independently practice as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Clinical Counselor (or equivalent), or Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of employment.
• Must be licensed in the state where you will be practicing at Cortica for a minimum of 1 year.
• Familiarity with evidence-based psychotherapy techniques, including cognitive and behavioral therapies, postmodern/post-structural approaches, social constructionism, and narrative therapy.
• Over 1 year of experience working with children or families with developmental differences in a counseling setting.
• Ability to secure Mental Health Provider licensure in all eligible states where Cortica operates within 60 days of hire.
