This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess, create, and modify contracts for the Moder family of companies, including master services agreements, statements of work, work orders, change orders, vendor agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

• Manage standard contract requests independently from intake through to execution.

• Escalate complex or non-standard contract matters as needed.

• Perform legal research to support contract positions and identify potential risks.

• Suggest practical solutions that align with business objectives and risk management strategies.

• Develop contract summaries, risk assessments, and negotiation talking points.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify contract terms, and ensure timely execution.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.

• Execute other related duties as assigned.

• Function as an individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in one or more jurisdictions within the United States.

• Active law license (bar admission) in at least one jurisdiction in the United States is required.

• Three to five years of experience in a corporate legal department or equivalent experience in a law firm focused on general legal duties, including contract drafting and negotiation.

• Exceptional legal writing and drafting capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple contract matters concurrently with minimal oversight.

• Strong analytical thinking and independent problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient with contract management tools and databases.

• Direct experience in financial services and technology-related transactions is preferred.

• Capability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
