This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive legal guidance and services.

• Oversee internal and governmental inquiries for the company.

• Actively seek out opportunities to reduce risk.

• Handle intricate litigation cases.

• Work in partnership with internal clients and external legal counsel on litigation and case strategies.

• Apply independent judgment and decision-making regarding investigation and litigation matters.

• Assume complete responsibility for legal issues with minimal to modest oversight.

• Conduct advanced legal analysis.

• Effectively communicate with business partners and other relevant stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.

• Active and licensed membership in a state bar association.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing investigations or complex litigation.

• Capability to organize and effectively manage multiple matters simultaneously.

• Proficient in conveying complex legal matters to various stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently with general supervision and within team environments.

• Dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Self-supplied internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

• Preferred: Experience in investigations or litigation within the managed care sector.

• Preferred: Knowledge of e-discovery and experience with large-scale discovery processes.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Medicare laws and regulations, along with federal healthcare fraud laws and statutes, including the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute.
