Costing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Oversee costing operations and seasonal development costing across VF brands, products, and regions.

• Enhance and standardize costing methodologies utilizing consistent, data-driven, automated, and efficient processes.

• Collaborate with VF product sourcing teams and in-country manufacturing partners.

• Engage with product sourcing and development teams to design cost-effective solutions and achieve product cost reductions.

• Advocate for connectivity and information sharing among vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Manage milestones and activities related to seasonal development costing.

• Facilitate vendor negotiations employing fact-based costing strategies and product engineering to boost profitability.

• Offer FOB and landed costing insights to support vendor allocation and sourcing strategies.

• Ensure adherence to costing processes among costing operations teams and vendors.

• Monitor and report on key performance metrics for efficiency and transparency.

• Lead cross-functional projects, conduct analyses, and produce deliverables in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial garment manufacturing, buying offices, or trading companies is required.

• Capability to understand technical specifications, Bills of Materials, and garment constructions.

• Familiarity with fabric weaving, constructions, and various dyeing processes is advantageous.

• Knowledge of embellishments, including printing techniques, embroidery, and quilting, is a plus.

• Experience with sweater knits and accessories is a benefit.

• Ability to influence and build consensus.

• Experience with change management, business process redesign, or process reengineering.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and reasoning capabilities.

• Willingness to learn and embrace new methods, tools, and technologies.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Excellent communication skills: diplomatic, open, a good listener, direct, and concise.

• Oral and written fluency in English.
